Move Toward the Conflict - Conflict is information. Handled well, conflict is opportunity. If avoided, nothing can be resolved.
You don't know anything - Even if you do know something, pretend you don't. You'll discover a lot by asking questions, and being open to discovery.
Keep quiet - Don't panic in the few seconds it takes for people to respond. Some of the best breakthroughs in really difficult conversations have emerged in a brief period of silence.
