Our client is a 2nd generation, family run business. They are looking for a buyer to add to their team because one of their current buyers was promoted within the company!
Details on the role
• On-site position, not remote
• Currently have a team of 5 buyers on the team
• Team purchases a variety of products including packaging, injection molding, plastics, castings, fab, machined weldments, hardware
• Role is a mixture of tactical and strategic
• Lean exposure is important
• Purchasing volumes are triggered from demand from the floor
• International experience would be really helpful
• Company runs Just In Time
• System the company uses is Epicore. Candidate needs to have strong ERP experience.
